We spend most of our day “Running and Running and Running” with no real destination in mind. (Or, if we are lucky, like the fellow in my picture, we are skating) – but no matter HOW we are moving, we usually don’t know where we are going. If we did, it probably wouldn’t help much, because the destination we might have in mind usually doesn’t really satisfy the longing if our lives.
The gospel lesson for the sermon preached at Patterson Avenue Baptist Church on May 15, 2011 was based on John 10:1-18. It shares the message that the LIFE we long for is not a goal to be achieved, but a gift to be received. Listen in on the sermon”Running and Running and Running” when you click this link.
